Pastor Doug's Bio
Pastor Doug Leslie accepted the Associate Pastorate for Hope Chapel in January of 2008. Doug has a deep commitment and love for the local church. Relying on more than 15 years in volunteer ministry development within the local church environment he overseas our adult ministry areas where he is charged with outreach and ministry development.
In addition to his role at the church, Pastor Doug is the Founder and President of The Marketplace Foundation, a skill training educational foundation focused on strategically equipping those serving among the unreached. Before founding MPF in 2005, Mr. Leslie served from 2001-2005 as the Director of Operations for Antioch Network, a Christian non-profit organization focused on helping local churches plant reproducing churches among unreached people groups. Additionally, he served as adjunct staff with Harvest International Christian Outreach, a short-term missions mobilizing organization in Orlando, Florida from 1996-2000.
Before transitioning into full-time vocational Christian ministry, Doug worked for 10 years in the marketplace as top performer in the technology sales and service industry, including hardware sales, technical staffing, and as a partner in an internet development start-up company in the Midwest. Pastor Doug holds a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership and Bible from Grace University.
Pastor Doug makes his home in west Phoenix with his beautiful wife, Misty, four children (Marcus, Analicia, Jonathan and David), two dogs, cat and a pond full of koi fish.
