Making of a Man Part 3

Real men are measured by how they live. Men must stand still and let God be God. If God is God serve Him. If not serve whatever you choose.. But weigh your choice carefully because it will determine where you will will be for eternity.
Some men have fallen from social responsibility, pacifism will criple you. Real men lead courageously. Real men love to see real men win out over impossible odds. Men are created to lead with character and humilty. Real men expect great things from God.

NEED HOPE ?

There is Hope because God has a purpose for you. Do not squander your life away.Every person can make a difference.
God placed you here in this part of history. If you were born in a different place and time you would have a totally different life. God is the defining movement in you. You probably will not see your defining moments until you look back on your life. Your plan for your life needs to follow Gods plan.

What is the mark of the beast ? Who is the anti Christ ? One world government and currency ? John is trying to put into words what he sees. Even though he does not have a clue as to what he is seeing. He writes and does his best because he is commanded by God to write.

The Last Days Part 3

There things in our culture that have desensitize us to the bad things in life. It is becoming more correct to have no correction. It seems like the only acceptable thing to do today is to criticize Christians.
Perilous times are a big process of the second coming. There are things that are going to happen during the end times that we are not going to have a clue as to what is happening. And that probably is on purpose. The worst of Satan's demons have not been loosed on the world. If you can imagine all the prisons in the world releasing their prisoners and no one will control them. It will be worse than that. But we will win because of Jesus.

Mothers Day 2009

As soon as we get discouraged in life we need to go to God in prayer. When we are weary and tired pray for strength. When happy and things are going right, pray and give thanks.
The Word of God is our greatest weapon against Satan . Use IT. There is something more valuble in life than silver and gold. That something is our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.

The Last Days Part 2

Are we living in the last days? Some of us believers are constantly in fear of missing the rapture. Per Gods Word Matthew 24: 36, But concerning the day and that hour, no man knows, not even the angels of heaven, but the father alone. Once Jesus ascended we started the last days. Live always passionately for Christ and you will be ready and will not be missed.

The Last Days Part 1

The Bible speaks clearly of the end times.Scripture and culture gives us signs of things to come. We are living in the last days either prophetically or personally.
Live your life knowing it is limited, the point is not to try to figure it all out. Knowledge does not make us better people it only makes more prideful.

Reaching The Lost Part 4

God is concerned with filling his house with people. Believers are ambassadors for God. As believers we need to connect with the unbelievers and fill his house. You do not have to tell lost people they are lost. Reaching the lost is the heart beat of God. God is interested in numbers, He wrote a book by the name, Numbers.
The spreading of the Good News is not for the benifit of God but for the benifit of the lost. Lost people are looking for direction. Not only as believers do we need to point the lost in the right direction but we must also lead the way.

Reaching the Lost Part 2

Effective evangelism:
The right passion, reaching the lost not a suggestion but a command.
Do we really believe God. Do we believe the Bible is truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? As with the Boy Scouts we Christians should also Be Prepared.
The right priority, winning souls and keeping people out of hell.
The right presentation, with passion, priority, and ultimately the right message.

Happy New Year

Make the most of your life today. Remember how you could hardly wait until tomorrow. Well it is here and gone. Today is today. Waiting for better days to come you will waste today.
The will of the Lord is to follow Him. Let him be part of your life. Today is the first day in the rest of your life.

Nehemiah Finished? Not Really !! Part 2

Work is the main theme of Nehemiah. Work of rebuilding. God provides everything we need to build the church. We need to supply the work. When God is working on something worth building nothing can stop you.
The passion of the kingdom is to reach the lost. The church is the santuary for the lost .Not a self centered place for saints.

Nehemiah Finished? Not Really!!!

Overwhelmed, drained, exhausted, do the hard work in life the Lord has appointed you and reap the real joy God has for you. The walls of God's church are our stronghold. The church we are building is God's church not ours. No matter who you are, no matter what life puts before you work with your fellow christians to build a strong church on a solid foundation of God's Word. Just as Nehemiah brought together people of different life styles to complete a wall to protect God's people. We must work together with other brothers and sisters in Christ to build His church on earth.

Dealing With The Enemy

Many a good work has been looked upon with contempt by proud and distainful scorners. Those who disagree in almost every thing, will unite in persecution. Nehemiah did not answer these fools according to their folly, but looked up to God by prayer. God's people have often been a despised people, but he hears all the slights that are put upon them, and it is their comfort that he does so. The hindering of good work is what bad men aim at, and promise themselves success in; but good work is God's work, and it shall prosper. God has many ways of bringing to light the devices and designs of his enemies. If our enemies cannot frighten us from duty, or deceive us into sin, they cannot hurt us. Nehemiah put himself and his cause under the Divine protection. It was the way of this good man, and should be our way. All his cares, all his griefs, all his fears, he spread before God. Before he used any means, he made his prayer to God. Having prayed, he set a watch against the enemy. If we think to secure ourselves by prayer, without watchfulness, and tempt God; if by watchfulness, without prayer, we are proud, and slight God: either way, we forfeit his protection.

Personal Priorities

The walls of Jerusalem, in heaps of rubbish, represent the desperate state of the world around, while the number and malice of those who hindered the building, give some faint idea of the enemies we have to contend with, while executing the work of God. Every one must begin at home; for it is by getting the work of God advanced in our own souls that we shall best contribute to the good of the church of Christ. May the Lord thus stir up the hearts of his people, to lay aside their petty disputes, and to disregard their worldly interests, compared with building the walls of Jerusalem, and defending the cause of truth and godliness against the assaults of avowed enemies.

Evaluating Brokenness

What is your plan for rebuilding your life? When rebuilding your life it may get worse before it gets better. When you decide to let God be in control of rebuilding your life it is then He can begin the good work in you.
If you try to climb the ladder of success by yourself you may find that your ladder is leaning against the wrong wall.
As with Nehemiah you may only see yourself a door mat, but trusting in God you can accomplish things in life beyond your wildest expectations.

The Heart Principle

Do we have a life or just exist? Building life is not easy but worth everything. Building correctly begins with the heart. The Lord is near to those who are close to him in their heart.
As David did, ask the Lord to examine your heart. If you are living your life without God you are going nowhere.
God designed us to do things that no one else can do. If you don't do the things God calls you to do' you has wasted your life.
