Coffee For Missions
As part of our continuing effort to be a missional church we have partnered with Cafe Por Favor based in Phoenix. This group has created a co-op that imports, roasts and distributes coffee for small, high altitude villages in Honduras that cannot sustain viable incomes on the international coffee trade. In thier words, "...Cafe Por Favor purchases the green beans for 3o cents more per pound than the production cost of the small farmers....This guarantees an appropriate profit and is the difference between economic catastrophe and survival."
Due to this work from a local business man who saw a need and put vision into action, medical clinics, infrastructure projects and a regional hospital has been built from this outreach. And now we can be a part of this great outreach project.
